Craig Rosenvall, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a real estate developer and investor, as well as a former business owner and entrepreneur. Over the course of his career, he has owned several mom-and-pop businesses but had dreams of creating a company so big that it had the potential to spread nationally. Though Craig’s businesses were all successful in their own right, he had never quite been able to reach his goal. Eventually, through his studies, he realized that the sector best suited for his aspirations was the financial services industry. 

After more research, Craig Rosenvall came to the conclusion that insurance would be the ticket to accomplishing his dream, but he needed money to get started. In 2002, he began traveling from Salt Lake City to Idaho to conduct his business and, with some financial help from his son, turned Alpha Warranty, a one-man business, into a thriving, national company with over 200 employees, including sales representatives located all over the nation. 

As the years went by, Craig decided to sell the business to his sons. Under his son’s guidance, Alpha Warranty continues to be one of the largest players in the Automobile Extended Warranties Insurance sector. However, never one to rest, he began pursuing one of his other interests—real estate. He began reinvesting the money he made from selling his business into real estate development. In the past five years, Craig has built six luxury dream homes in Salt Lake City. 

To Craig Rosenvall, the transition into real estate was a simple one. Through operating Alpha Warranty, as well as his numerous other business ventures, he had all the skills and knowledge to run a successful enterprise. He has always loved creating something from nothing, and his career history only works to reinforce that passion. The ability to take an empty lot and watch it change and adapt over the course of a project is truly a one-of-a-kind physical manifestation of hard work. But, at the end of the day, what Craig appreciates most is the feeling he gets when people fall in love with their new home. 

Real estate development and investing is mostly a hobby for Craig, but he takes his builds incredibly seriously. From start to finish, he creates a product that is high-end and high-quality. With every home he builds, Craig would rather lose money or break even than sacrifice the quality of the finished product. As such, he dedicates a ton of time to his homes, each one taking approximately 12-18 months to complete. 

While producing a high-quality home is Craig Rosenvall’s top priority, he generally focuses on one project so that he is able to pursue his fitness interests. He is an accomplished traveler, runner, and mountain climber. To date, he has successfully run and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, Russia’s Mt. Elbrus, and Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina. Last year, he attempted Mt. Everest. Additionally, Craig has run the first 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Virginia, and has hiked across England coast to coast and completed the country’s Pennine Way trail. To train, Craig runs in the mountains for about three hours each day. As he moves past other hikers, they often do a double-take at the man with the grey hair speeding past them. Their shock and awe never cease to humor Craig.
